Transferring Between Home and Office |
Dear Wayne,
Glad to hear in your letter this morning that SDS on the office computer seems to be working now. When you have time today, or tomorrow, we should try to verify the SDS code is actually correct, in light of your letter on May 27 that the c: 01 02 directory is empty.
Next, we need to transfer files from the office computer to your home computer. Have worked out a rough work plan; however, this initial transfer seems a little complicated, so we might want to discuss by telephone. I am inclined to believe that you have some big work files. This may need custom planning, and the task should be done after you have finished using SDS, and are getting ready to leave for home.
There are batch files on the web for downloading to transfer and receive from the office computer, and comparable code for transferring and receiving for the home computer.
There is, also, a revised 25.bat file to fix the problem on the home computer which you reported today.
