Dear Rod,
[Responding to your letter on September 29, 1999...] I guess I am still confused.
The CS.zip file is 2.01 MB and I have an earlier CS.zip (Sept 10) that is 3.89 MB. Presumably there were other things in earlier updates that I should have incorporated into SDS that up to now, I haven't.
Also, when you implemented the major revision, there were other files like DS.zip.
I have not updated SDS since before any of these came out and at this point I can't sort out what needs to be updated and what doesn't. I sense that I run a pretty high risk of creating problems if I just update the CS and HS zip files recently sent, if I haven't incorporated earlier changes.
If you are telling me that these recent files will update SDS to the current version from a version that hasn't been updated at all in more than a year, then I will proceed. If not, then I need more instruction on what files to unzip and in what order. (i.e. I need to be told to update with the major revision files located at such and such web site and then incorporate the latest revisions at the site in our most recent correspondence. Or something like that)
