Rod,
[Responding to your letter on Sunday, May 27, 2001....]
I downloaded sds.bat from the web and reinstalled this morning at the office and SDS now seems to be working.
The problem now is that I tried to open SDS at home yesterday and the home version is not working. Clicking on the icon or typing sds at a DOS prompt yields the same result which is: some hard drive noise like it is getting ready to load, a "file not found" flashing briefly on a black window, then nothing--just a black window that doesn't respond to esc, enter, or anything else. Any ideas?
Sincerely,

Wayne,
Have another concern as a result of your letter today, reporting sds.bat failed, and that there are no files in c: 01 02. Off-hand there is no reason for sds.bat not to have been included in the updated for your office computer. Since it was not, this raises a question about whether the transmission of 01.zip got corrupted, and in that case, other stuff could be messed up.
Maybe tomorrow, or Tuesday we can check this out. Very sorry about these difficulties.
Sincerely,
The Welch Company
