Discussion
This meeting was called by Ivan Romero to clarify the status of the special
floor outlets in the Prefunction.
The size of the special Prefunction floor outlets previously cited by TEE
turned out to be incorrect, and the revisions to their layout incorporated
into the prior generation of background updates was not in accordance with
TEE's reconsidered understanding of the client's direction.
- The special floor outlets in the Prefunction that appear to follow a
random pattern are pretty much as the client requested them. They should
not be modified, with the following exceptions:
- On the ground floor, the outlets should be adjusted to miss the beams
below. Currently 5 out of 9 outlets are directly over beams.
- On the second and third floors, adjust outlet location to miss beam
lines.
- For booth banks at cols 3, 3.3 and 3.8, no outlets need be
provided in the Prefunction space.
- The typical floor boxes at col F are designed to service these
booths that extend into the Prefunction.
- TEE needs to do a layout of the small floor outlets in the exhibit
hall for Tim Comey to review/approve telecommunications outlets
- The beams and fireproofing along column lines E.5 and F are deeper than
the typical floor box. Because the floor boxes are situated relatively
close to these column lines, the 6" conduit linking these floor boxes
will not be able to come in at a straight shot horizontally per the
typical detail on TEE's drawings.
