I spent a hour or two puzzling over the material you sent me this weekend, with the following result:

I am reluctant to use a quote from someone who may or may not be a speaker at the event (Hatch).

In addition, we were counting on running this piece in the Marketplace section of the magazine, which means it needs to be in the nature of a brief news article: Date, time, location, topics to be covered, highlighted speakers, who to contact for registrations, etc. You know, the newshound's Who What When Where Why---and about 200 words or less.

I'm having a hard time generating that from what you sent me. I don't even know who Johanna Neuman is, much less what book she wrote!

Jim had to go to a PMI meeting in Winnipeg and will not be in the office until tomorrow. Can you email me a brief, "just the facts, please, ma'am" sketch of your input for this release? Obviously, I can get the nuts and bolts from the ad we've been running. But what you are wanting to get out is the "Why," which gets a little more complex.

So, in 100 words or less, Why should PM Net readers want to attend this conference? Don't worry about flow or grammar, I'll polish it up. Can you get it back to me by the end of the day Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest?

I'm sorry about this mixup: if I had been in normal working order, I would have caught this early last week and gotten back to you sooner, but I only worked about 3 half-days last week due to my injury.
