Subject: | Happy 25th Birthday |
Dear Amy
Yes, 25 is quite an exciting time of life. You are full of wonder and potential to "climb any mountain," as they say. The opportunities you describe all sound exciting. Glad you are taking your time to review the circumstances of employment. You can afford to be a little choosy in a good economy, and should be to get the right situation for you. Let me know where you wind up.
Did I mention having a proposal for a research grant under review by the National Science Foundation. Your credentials might be a good fit. Unfortunately, timing never works out on these things. Moreover the chances of getting an award on my particular set of ideas is not very high.
In any case, I know that whoever gets your services will be lucky. Your email has very few errors, and shows a well organized mind. That's a rare thing to encounter these days. Everyone in the family is proud of your accomplishments.
Here is a little reading material for your birthday trip to Las Vegas. It explains a remedy for mistakes in medical work, that, also, helps management in government and business, and so may relate to your job search.
Happy birthday,
Sincerely,
Rod
