Congruatulations on your remarks at the Governor's inauguration, broadcast on CSPAN. The Governor showed political acumen and wisdom in reaching across the generations to launch his stewardship for the period ahead. Tom Brokaw's new book, "The Greatest Generation," seems a fitting tribute, as well, to the legacy of achievement that you and so many of your peers bequeath to those now assuming the reins of power. While great questions swirl on standards and direction in public life, our path is made clear by the light of those who have traveled before with honor, dignity and high purpose.

I also noticed alacrity and grace, as you stepped from the podium, showing you must still be keeping up on the tennis court. Again, congratulations in helping launch the new administration. Hope all is well.
