Dear Gary,
This confirms
our discussion
on March 9, 2003 that we have agreed to continue
collaboration, begun on or about September 24, 2002 to
pilot test SDS, by working under specific
terms and conditions
we discussed on January 26, 2003, and as shown in my SDS record on
that date. Welcome aboard. This accomplishes a major milestone task.

Glad to hear you are using
SDS best practices
for capturing a greater
share of daily working information, rather than trying to write everything
down, as further related in our call on March 9, and which clarifies your
letter on March 8 explaining challenges posed by
information overload
for using good management.

As we discussed, ultimately, if there is not enough time for people to think,
because everybody is busy in meetings, calls, email, etc., then more people are
needed for analysis in order to
avoid problems
discussed in your letter on October 6,
2001 and further indicated by
tragic events
a month earlier on September 11, which was
underscored recently by NASA's
failure to analyse
reported a week or so ago on
March 4. This leads to the
Com Manager
role under Drucker's theory about the need
for new roles and structure to meet the demands of an evolving work environment.

next number of months, our
main focus, as a collaboration team, will be to
transition your work practice
using SDS
on the Boeing project. This will yield experience for
further development on SDS.
