Dear Henry,
Thanks very much for your letter on November 25, 2001 proposing consideration for an SDS project in connection with your objectives to develop an online publication modeled after the Economist and aimed at an audience interested in mental augmentation. This fits with objectives of POIMS enabled by SDS for a system of Communication Metrics, as noted in your letter.
I believe Welch publications should be published and that this should be in an online environment to foster a culture of knowledge that enables continual learning. So, we share the same near term goal, and can work on how to bring this about, as reviewed in the record on November 25.
Recent events have created heightened demand for addressing your topic; the challenge will be how to attract an audience and advertising revenue. Several action items may help focus our efforts in considering your initiative.
