Windows 2000 Installation, DSL and LAN |
Dear Bill,
Confirming our telecon, Morris will call this evening after 8p to set up a conference call to follow up our review this morning about technical improvements needed in SDS to hold new users.
There are links in our discussion this morning about installing Windows 2000, and setting up DSL and LAN together. In sum, I think separate networks cards are helpful for the desktop; a single network card is adequate for a notebook.
Call, if you guys want help configuring w2k. I will be in Concord today and tomorrow, so could visit, if that would be helpful. Once you get networked, it is a snap to setup SDS on your computer, as we discussed.
