Dear Roy,
Glad to see you contributing to Doug's DKR project. The material I received from you, however, is not readable, per below. Neither is your second submission on identifying pivitol problems. Can you re-submit please or is there a decoding procedure?
An update... On December 13, NSF rejected my proposal on Com Metrics. They liked the idea, but recognized that I lack the credentials to create Com Metrics. While this overlooked the fact that Com Metrics is already created, they are correct that I lack credentials. It was a lucky guess to figure out how to integrate time and information. Doug's Colloquium has a lot of highly qualified people who hopefully can contribute.
In your letter on June 21, 1999 you were reviewing alternatives for advancing your ideas for DKR type effort. I would like hear about your progress when time permits.
