As I said [in our telecon on May 24, 1999] [Responding to your letter on May 24, 1999] The challenge is to get people to write down [their] ideas. Many times, programmers are tacticians, and they just start writing code. They don't want to think about the big picture or impacts. These are problems left to managers. Many technical people are in love with technology, not with analysis and English. You should know that engineers and scientists are some of the worst writers in the world.
