Subject: Re: Web Support Communication Metrics

Dear Rod:
Sorry I missed your call. I spend most of my time in meetings these days.

I talked with my boss. Based on our response, he would like to wait till next year to talk. We proposed a process, which we thought was simple, and was not everything that we thought we needed to do. His boss, and the people that we are signing up, felt it was too complicated. So, we want to get our feet under under us, show the value, and then talk about more significant changes.

Please stay in touch.

Thanks,

Dave

Congratulations on your new assignment. You have had a busy year with a new
house, and a growing agenda at work. Hope you have had time for family and
fun stuff -- created any new and interesting furniture?

The intranet situation is an emerging opportunity that requires careful
thinking about what can and cannot be accomplished to make management more
effective. I think it can be applied more usefully by an order of magnitude
for the management function, per se.

I am getting ready for a major presentation in Washington D.C. on Dec 2,
following up reports issued by the Corps of Engineers in March and October.
Trying to get a little more integraton with Web capabilities. This might be
interesting to you and your new team.

Let me know if you want take a look. Thanks for the update.

Rod
