Dear Rod:
Thank you for the demonstration and explanation of POIMS and SDS earlier this month. As you and I discussed, POIMS and SDS offer executives an alternative management methodology for the integration of time, information, and people.
Although I understand your interest in IBM executives utilizing POIMS and SDS, I cannot currently offer you encouragement in that area. IBM is in the final stages of our business process re-engineering. This effort includes the management tools which will serve us through the next few years. We are implementing this consistent management system and tools set thorughout IBM North America and internationally.
I wish you great success with your current project at PG&E. Hopefully, it will be a spring board for you in this market place!
