Subject:   Questions about SDS, OHS

Greetings Mr. Welch,

I have stumbled upon some of your SDS diaries on the web and I am intrigued by the concept of SDS and OHS/DKR; to say the least. There are a few things I have not been able to establish. Although it appears that there is an active OHS, DKR, SDS effort underway with SRI, the SourceForge OSDN project page indicates that there hasn't been any development. Was the OHS project removed from open source development?

I see how, in SDS, you cross reference diary entries and documents, but what is not clear is how you come up with those references. Do you have an index or do you simply remember and thus can easily find the reference? Do you have the referred diary/document open in another window? How are subjects/projects categorized?

I have dozens of questions I would like ask--needless to say I am intrigued--but I will be happy just to have the preceding questions answered. By-the-way, is SDS available for individual use? What is the cost and other requirements?

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Jiri Sykora
