Subject:   Re: [Fwd: KM Hard Work Highly Rewarding]

Rod,

Thanks [for keeping me posted on marketing efforts for SDS, POIMS and Communication Metrics...]

I'm almost ready to suggest that you pass your letters by me for a human spell check. Here's what I saw right away in this one:

might be a viable alley. Additionally, I want to enhance the tools, to make KM a little easeir,

I think you may mean valuable, probably mean ally, and surely mean easier.

These trivial flaws have an undue influence on how others see you. I bet that you notice my unkempt clothing and weird hat. That's all right with me, since many of the folks I don't want to talk with automatically choose to avoid me. But I think you care a lot about the first impressions you make with your "cold calls" using email. If you want folks to be impressed with how well you can use today's high tech resources to do a superior job at a reasonable cost in effort and investment, you're wasting opportunities.

There are many reasons I am so blunt about this, including to test how well you can _integrate_ this _unflattering_ _review_ of your work. Would you please send me a few sentences about what you've just gotten from me and what you did with it? I wish to learn from you, because you have learned from long experience with using and revising personal knowledge management tools.

And schedule some fun into your busy days and nights, please. You need both fun and hugs just to maintain some balance. The FDA won't release their recommended daily amounts data, so we have to guess how much is needed.

Sincerely,

Richard Karpinski
