Maybe this needs another term to sound more like the essential, vital, required, honorable task that it is. It sounds like cleaning your nails or straightening your tie, but instead it's navigating cautiously past countless pitfalls, whirlpools, and other hazzards of nearly hidden flaws in the communication.
Debugging communication, capturing communication problems, search and destroy miscommunications, I don't know, but what you have for a name just wimps out for me. Amplified communication! Securing the meaning? Assuring the communication. We want something that connotes excercising skill to secure the fruits of the good work already done against the hazzards of faulty shared understandings. Ain't that right???
