Wideman, R. Max
For your information, I am pleased to announce that our on-going development of...
A COMPARATIVE GLOSSARY OF COMMON PROJECT MANAGEMENT TERMS
... is now posted to the web. (No, this is not a commercial!)
The purpose of this research over several years has been to try to bring some order to the communication chaos that presently exists in the project management field. The definitions are sourced from around the world.
The Glossary contains well over 2000 entries and in many cases shows the diversity of respected opinion on individual project management terms that are in common use. You will find that some definitions are even quite contradictory.
Terms that are within terms and defined elsewhere in the Glossary are all hyperlinked so that you can get a thorough understanding of the intended meaning.
Thanks to David Curling in Ottawa, you can see the Glossary at his web site. Point your browser to...

Click on 'Library' and then on 'PM Glossary'
You can even down load a copy and, since it is written in html, will work on either the PC or the Mac using your favorite browser. However, if you print it, it is over 250 pages.
Sincerely,
R. Max Wideman
