Hi,

Nevada and Steve were here today and did a terrific job setting up email for Outlook Express.

There was not enough time to think about how to do this, so Outlook Express was used.

Nevada was kind enough to position a screen somewhere, somehow for entering an email name and so on. However, there was not enough time to write up how this was accomplished. Working with a valued vendor like Pac Bell our policy is to expedite the work and avoid wasting time. This requires information on how to find critical information like the pop server and the SMTP or whatever it is that was set up. With this basic information, we do not have to bother the vendor with silly questions.

We looked at the web site cited by your team. It has a lot of discussion about the need to set out the pop server and the SMTP, but it does not seem to say where to find this critical information.

Right now it is 0224 in the morning. I am trying to set up Microsoft Outlook. It wants to know the "Incoming Maill pop3 or IMAP server.

Where is that information?

It wants to know SMPT severver. Where is that information?

It probably wants to know other things we have not yet encountered.

How do we get this information. Here is the record created by your team. If what we need is in the record, and we are overlooking it, please point it out.

Since Outlook Express is configured, how do draw from that configuration the information we need to configure Outlook, or Netscape, if we decide to do that?

Thanks.

Rod
